While in Cartersville, check out the Grand Theater, which opened in 1910. After being destroyed by fire in 1923, the theater reopened in 1929. The building has undergone a total renovation in 1989, and it welcomes about 3,500 school students each year. The performances include a short history of the city. Sites and shops in Cartersville

There are a number of interesting sites and shops in Cartersville. While it’s not a large town, downtown Cartersville has a friendly, small-town feel. In the historic district, you can find the first Coca-Cola advertisement mural, as well as the Young Brothers Pharmacy. You can also visit the Booth Western Art Museum, which is a Smithsonian affiliate and features over one hundred thousand square feet of Western American art.

Red Top Mountain State Park has 93 campsites and 20 cottages. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, geocaching, archery, and tennis. The Tellus Science Museum is a great destination for kids. The Tellus Science Museum is located just outside of town and offers tours that take about an hour and a half. The museum is open seven days a week and is open to the public from 10:00 am until 4:00 p.m.

The downtown area of Cartersville is a very charming place to visit. The area includes several beautiful antique stores and cafes. The old courthouse building was also used as a roller skating rink. Today, it houses the Bartow History Museum, which features exhibits about the history of the region. The Booth Museum of Western Art is a must-see for any visitor. While the museum is located in downtown Cartersville, you can also visit the Tellus Museum, a historical park that houses the world’s first Coca-Cola outdoor sign. Visitors can spend days at the historic sites in this town. There is also a lot to do for families in the area. If you love to play sports, you’ll enjoy the town’s many parks and golf courses.
