Brad Thomason discovered his passion for roofing in 1992, while working the night shift as a cook at Waffle House. After finishing his shift at 7 a.m., he began helping local roofers to earn extra money — and quickly realized he had found his calling. Those early mornings laid the foundation for a lifelong career in construction.
He began by cleaning gutters and performing small repairs, learning firsthand the importance of detail, quality, and honesty. From there, Brad worked his way up from a “runabout guy” in Roswell to joining commercial roofing crews handling large restaurant projects across Atlanta, including Steak and Ale locations around I-285.
By 2010, after years of experience and leadership, Brad rebranded his growing company to Mr. Roofer of Atlanta, creating a trusted, recognizable brand built on craftsmanship and integrity. Today, he oversees a team operating from four Georgia locations, providing everything from small repairs to complex synthetic roof installations.

Brad earned his GAF Master Elite Certification in 2018, placing him among the top 2% of roofers in North America. He’s also a CertainTeed Select Shingle Master, Owens Corning Preferred Contractor (since 1995), and a Certified Plus Contractor.
